Convocation Awards

Each year Convocation, the UWA Graduates Association, presents more than 50 prizes and awards to undergraduate students, postgraduate students and graduates. All of these prizes and awards are made possible by graduates, who through their generous donations to the capital funds for the Prizes and Awards contribute to excellence.

The prizes and awards are:

• Convocation Postgraduate Research Travel Awards

• Convocation Prizes for Achievement by Undergraduate Students

• Convocation Sports Scholarship

• The Matilda Award for Cultural Excellence

Since 1990, Convocation has also sponsored the Sports Star of the Year Award. If you would like more information about this award please contact UWA Sports.

Contributing To Excellence

If you would like to contribute to excellence by donating to the capital funds for any of the prizes, awards or bursaries offered to students by Convocation, please contact the Office of Convocation. Donations of $2 or more are tax deductible.
